In hand & groundwork clinics- For equines of all ages. Learn the benefits of good ground manners and the fun and challenges of working obstacles in hand. Two hour classes at Misfit Farm $30 per class limit 5 equines.
June 4th 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. (weather permitting)
Clinics- these 3 hour Saturday clinics will include groundwork and riding. $40 per class, limit 5 equines. Bring your own horse or use one of our equines.

August 6th 9 a.m. – 12 Horse show tune up for trail and in hand trail classes.
Introduction to dressage classes- These fun, one hour classes are designed for the English and Western rider. The classes will be held on Wednesday evenings and will vary in times as the year progresses and it stays lighter in the evenings. The one hour classes are limited to 5 riders and are $10 per class. Times to be announced at a later date. May 25th, June 22nd and a pre-show class will be August 17th.
Invitational play day- featuring various ridden and in hand trail classes will be in the fall.
Exploring the art of lunging- There’s more to lunging a horse then having him run in a circle on the end of a lunge line. Equines will be provided for this two-hour class which will be offered throughout the year. $20 per class.
Non-riding activities-Were horses once a part of your life? Did you want, but could never have a horse? Think you’re too old to ride? Just because you can’t ride anymore doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy an equine relationship. Want to try something new? We are now offering a variety of fun and challenging ground work classes for those who don’t ride. Come experience a new adventure in horsemanship. Private or group classes available weekdays & evenings.
We also offer private and group classes aimed at providing methods to help riders develop a confident partnership with their horse. Our specialty is in helping riders to train their own horse for pleasure, trail riding and groundwork. We have equines available for horsemanship classes. Adult classes available and can work with homeschool programs.We offer Western or English style, basic dressage, trail and horsemanship classes using natural horsemanship and centered riding principles.

Does your child want a horse or are you contemplating one for yourself? This introductory class is for first time parent/ adult horse owners. Learn what’s involved with horsekeeping, before investing in one. Class consists of two -2 hr classes with an optional 2 hr. hands-on class at Misfit Farm (time/ day determined during class.)
